The Pickwick is an historic boutique hotel located three blocks from Union Square and two blocks from the Moscone Center. Daniel Hammett features the Pickwick Hotel (built in 1926) in the classic mystery novel "The Maltese Falcon". The hotel was constructed in the Neo Gothic style.
